TENDER AWARDED FOR BMKG PROJECT
Through our local partner - PT POLARIS INSTRUMENTASI DINAMIKA, we are very proud to have been awarded a tender from Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) for an extensive PM2.5 monitoring project throughout Indonesia. Established in 1866, BMKG is the non-departmental government agency of Indonesia for meteorology, climatology and geophysics
With our highly skilled staffs and expertise, APAQ Group will be directly involved in the supervision of the commissioning in 6 locations, the training of BMKG staff and the provision of maintenance services of the 6 units of BAM-1020 supplied for the project.

BAM-1020 is the most used instrument in measuring Particulates Matter with over 10,000 units around the world. The BAM-1020, designed and manufactured by Met One Instruments (Oregon, USA) was the first instrument to obtain U.S. EPA Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) designation for continuous PM2.5 monitoring, in addition to its longstanding EPA designation for PM10 monitoring.
